Ireland

Ireland is an island in the west of Europe. To the west of Ireland there is the Atlantic Ocean and to the east of Ireland is the Irish Sea. The closest country to Ireland is England, Whales and Scotland. Northern Ireland (Ulster) is owned by the United Kindom because in the 17th century Ulster had a Protestant and Unionist majority who wanted to maintain ties to Britain.
